Your new company A well-established Tasmanian organisation is seeking a Facilities & Compliance Coordinator to lead a small maintenance team and oversee the safe and efficient operation of its facilities.This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on maintenance work with leadership, contractor management, compliance, and workplace health and safety responsibilities.Your new role Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, managing contractors, leading a team of four, and ensuring all facilities remain safe, compliant, and well maintained.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and mentoring a small facilities and maintenance teamCoordinating reactive and preventative maintenance programsManaging external contractors and service providersConducting site inspections, safety audits and risk assessmentsInvestigating incidents and implementing corrective actionsMaintaining compliance documentation and safety registersOverseeing minor projects and building maintenance worksSupporting emergency preparedness and safety initiativesDriving a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisationWhat you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will ideally come from a trade,
