Company Description The Avocado Collective supports more than 70 avocado growers across the South West region of Western Australia and multiple growers and packhouses on the East Coast of Australia, with quality assurance, packing, and marketing services. The organisation helps growers meet quality standards, manage changing conditions, and transport produce to market. It builds and maintains strong relationships, develops new markets, and works to grow demand for premium Australian avocados.

Role Description The Export Sales Administrator is a full time, on-site role based in Canning Vale, Perth, WA. This position is responsible for managing export sales orders from initial inquiry through to shipment, including accurate order processing, tracking purchase orders, communicating with customers on pricing and available volumes, notifying customers of any delays or changes to scheduling, following up claims accurately & promptly. assisting with preparation of export documentation, and coordination with logistics and internal teams. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with international customers and stakeholders, tracking shipments, resolving order or documentation issues,
and ensuring compliance with relevant export regulations.
The role also involves maintaining up-to-date records in sales and export systems, supporting the sales team with quotes and reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of export processes.
The Export Sales
Administrator will work closely with operations and marketing to help deliver Western Australia’s avocados to global markets efficiently and reliably.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in export documentation and export processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in order processing and export coordination.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills for working with internal teams and international customers.
- Experience with sales administration, customer service, or logistics in an export-focused environment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Business Central is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of agricultural or fresh produce export markets is a plus.
- Relevant qualification in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Able to work after hours and weekends to promptly respond to customer enquiries. Understanding that our work is somewhat seasonal, and has peaks and troughs of supply.
