Company Description Creative Devotional Counselling Service (CDCS) Brisbane provides psychotherapy, counselling, and mental health therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and a range of life challenges. The practice offers individual counselling as well as couples counselling and family mediation, with a particular focus on adolescent wellbeing and children’s health. CDCS uses diverse intervention strategies to address limiting beliefs and support clients in making meaningful changes, including services for addiction, anger management, and obesity.

The service emphasizes a confidential, respectful, and caring environment where clients can safely explore sensitive topics and personal difficulties.

Role Description The Fertility Nurse will provide specialized nursing care and support to clients undergoing fertility assessment and treatment, including coordination of in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures and related services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, administering medications and injections, monitoring treatment progress, educating clients and families on fertility options, and liaising with physicians and allied health professionals. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, supporting clients emotionally through fertility journeys,



and contributing to care plans that align with CDCS’s therapeutic and holistic approach.

This is a contract, in office role based in Springwood, QLD, requiring collaboration within a multidisciplinary counselling and healthcare team.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills and experience in Nursing and Medicine, including safe clinical practice in a fertility or women’s health setting.
- Specialized competencies in Fertility care, including assessment, patient education, and coordination of treatment pathways.
- Hands-on experience in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and IVF Nursing, including medication protocols, cycle monitoring, and procedure preparation.
- Current nursing registration with the appropriate Australian regulatory body and eligibility to practice in QLD.
- Strong communication, empathy, and counseling skills to support individuals and couples dealing with sensitive fertility and mental health issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Previous experience in reproductive health, obstetrics/gynecology, or fertility clinics is highly beneficial.
- Basic life support certification and familiarity with relevant clinical guidelines and infection control practices.
