About the Role

We are seeking a 12-month fixed-term Financial Accountant to join our Financial Control team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role supports Ricoh Australia’s Trading divisions across day-to-day financial accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, reporting and compliance activities.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, as well as colleagues in Ricoh Asia and Japan, contributing to accurate financial results and continuous improvement of financial controls, policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage month-end close, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Maintain balance sheet integrity, including intercompany balances and complex reconciliations
- Account for payroll, commissions, bonuses, leave provisions and IFRS16 leases
- Prepare financial reports,



dashboards and commentary for stakeholders
- Review P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow results
- Support tax, statutory reporting and audit processes (ATO, APRA, ABS)
- Approve payments within delegated authority
- Contribute to improving financial controls, policies and processes

To be successful in this role:

About You

- CA/CPA qualified
- 3–4+ years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Australian tax (GST, FBT, Income Tax)
- Proven ability to resolve complex reconciliation issues
- Proactive, detail-oriented and solutions-focused
- Strong communicator and collaborative team player
- Technology industry experience is advantageous but not essential
