The Role:

Icons Cairns showcases the best gourmet gifts and tastes from Far North Queensland, Icons provides a smorgasbord of local gourmet food, wine, beer, spirits and speciality coffee, complemented with lights meals, snacks and gourmet gift ideas. Whether it’s to pick up the perfect present, or to enjoy the tasting bar, Icons is a true indulgent of the last part of your trip to Far North Queensland.

We’re looking for energetic Full Time Team Members to join our vibrant Icons Café at Cairns Airport. If you thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment, and love serving up great coffee with a side of good vibes – this is your runway to something exciting!

What You’ll Do

✅ Deliver outstanding customer service with a warm, welcoming approach

✅ Take orders, prepare food & beverages, and keep things running smoothly

✅ Work collaboratively with a fun and hardworking team

✅ Keep the café sparkling and service standards sky-high

✅ Help travellers feel right at home – no matter how early or late the hour!

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in a café or customer service role (bonus if you’ve worked with food & coffee!)

✅ RSA preferred, but not essential

✅ Food Safety Certificate

✅ Well-groomed & professionally presented

✅ A positive, “can-do” attitude and love for customer interaction





✅ Reliable car/transport to the airport

✅ Availability to work a mixture of shifts early morning and late nights including weekends & holidays

✅ Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
