Company Description
Compound Pixels is a small product studio in Melbourne, Australia. Our first product is Save Genie, a shopping intelligence app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. You save products from any store, Save Genie tracks the prices, and Smoky, our mascot (soft creature, hard opinions), tells you when it is the right time to buy. Take a look before you apply: https://getsavegenie.com
We are about to launch in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Recent Zealand, and we are hiring one contract growth lead in each market to build our creator engine from day one. This role is for Australia.
What you will do
This is not a social media manager role. We want someone who has grown a consumer app through creators and can build the system behind that growth. You will find, test and sign creators in your market across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts, focusing on the niches where saving, deal hunting, hauls, budgeting and wishlist content already performs.
You will judge creators on real signals such as baseline views, comment quality and audience trust, not follower counts. You will brief creators so that Save Genie fits naturally into the content they already make, rather than reading like a scripted ad. You will also build the operations that let this scale: outreach, onboarding, contracts, deliverable tracking, payments, and per-creator performance analysis tied to installs and subscriptions.
In the first weeks you will be hands-on and sign deals yourself. Over time we want you to turn what works into a repeatable playbook, sharing results with the growth leads in our other four markets.
Who you are
You have personally run creator or influencer programs for a consumer app or DTC brand and can show the numbers, ideally dozens of partnerships rather than a handful of campaigns. You know your local creator scene well. You understand App Store attribution and subscription metrics.
You are comfortable working independently and asynchronously with founders in Melbourne, with a regular weekly call at a time that works across time zones.
Experience with shopping, fintech, savings or lifestyle apps is a strong plus. Being an iPhone user is close to essential, because Save Genie is Apple-only and so is our audience.
The Engagement
Remote contract, initial engagement of 6-12 months.
How to apply
Apply through our short form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfbInxc44RwvTFtFMOz94S5D5kBc1PDcTbfrIU3_BB_0-x_kw/viewform?usp=dialog The form asks for one piece of work. Name five creators in Australia you would ideally sign for Save Genie, tell us in a sentence or two why each one fits, and tell us which one you would test first. It should take about 15-20 minutes if you know the space, and it matters more to us than your CV. Applications without it will not be reviewed.
