Role Description As an Immigration Consultant at Teleo Immigration Lawyers, you will work on-site in the Greater Sydney Area (Norwest Business Park) in a full-time capacity, supporting clients with a broad range of Australian immigration matters. You will assist with the preparation, review, and lodgment of visa and sponsorship applications, ensuring compliance with current legislation, regulations, and policy guidelines. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal and policy research, gathering and organizing client information and documentation, drafting submissions and correspondence, and maintaining accurate case files.





You will liaise with clients, internal legal teams, and relevant government departments, providing clear, respectful, and timely updates on case progress. The role also involves monitoring changes in immigration law and policy, contributing to internal knowledge sharing, and supporting continuous improvement in client service delivery.

Qualifications

- Robust understanding of Immigration Issues and Australian Immigration, with the ability to interpret and apply complex policies to individual and corporate cases.
- Demonstrated experience working with visa and sponsorship applications, including preparing, reviewing, and lodging documentation.
- Background in Law or legal services, preferably with exposure to Australian immigration law or administrative law.
- Consulting skills, including client-facing work, needs assessment, and clear communication of options and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Migration Law, or a related field is an advantage; admission as a lawyer or registration as a migration agent is a requirement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters concurrently.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and standard office software; experience with immigration case management systems is beneficial - in particular Migration Manager.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, demonstrating integrity, cultural sensitivity, and client-focused service.
