The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to join Amotiv’s Group People & Culture team. Based primarily in South Melbourne, this role will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of learning and development initiatives across our global organisation.

Working closely with the People & Culture team and business leaders, you’ll help build leadership and functional capability, strengthen our performance culture and support the delivery of strategic people initiatives. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical program design, stakeholder engagement and delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for

- Managing the design, development and implementation of leadership development programs across all levels of the organisation.
- Partnering with external subject matter experts to design, build and deliver engaging learning modules and curriculum content.




- Working with business and P&C; leaders to identify critical functional capability gaps and develop targeted development programs.
- Assessing the right delivery approach for each initiative, including internal content, proprietary programs and third-party facilitation.
- Collaborating with leaders to support a consistent, organisation-wide approach to performance management and development.
- Embedding Amotiv’s values and behaviours into people practices, learning programs and ways of working.
- Facilitating training, workshops and team-based forums as required.
- Managing the administration, evaluation and continuous improvement of programs, including participation, feedback and return-on-investment measures where possible.
- Ensuring learning and development initiatives align with organisational needs, individual development and the business’ people strategy.

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

- 5+ years’ experience in Learning & Development, Organisational Development or a similar related field.
- Experience designing and delivering leadership and functional capability programs.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
- Experience managing multiple programs or projects concurrently, from concept through to implementation and evaluation.




- The ability to work collaboratively across functions, business units and geographic locations.
- Experience developing engaging communications, presentations, guides, learning materials and reports.
- Confidence facilitating workshops and forums with audiences ranging from frontline employees to senior leaders.
- A practical, organised and consultative approach, with the ability to turn business needs into effective development solutions.
- A qualification in HR, Business, Organisational Development or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
- Experience working in a complex or global operating environment, along with accreditation in profiling, assessment or psychometric tools, would also be beneficial.
