MRI Radiographer – ACT

We are looking for an MRI Radiographer to join our ACT team, working across our clinics in Woden, Deakin, Tuggeranong and Belconnen.
Whether you're an experienced MRI Radiographer looking for your next opportunity, or you're earlier in your MRI career and looking to continue building your skills and experience, we'd be keen to hear from you.
This is an prospect to work across a varied clinical environment, broaden your MRI experience and become part of an experienced and supportive radiology network.
The opportunity
Working across our ACT network, you'll perform high-quality MRI examinations while providing an excellent standard of patient care.
You'll gain exposure to both Siemens and Philips MRI systems, giving you the opportunity to develop your experience across different technology, workflows and clinical environments.
Our weekday operating hours range from 7:30am to 10:00pm Monday to Friday, with shifts rostered across these hours. Weekend work is available as overtime by agreement, providing additional earning opportunities for those who want them.
For Radiographers still developing their MRI experience, this role provides an excellent environment to continue building your technical capability and confidence while working alongside experienced imaging professionals.
What you'll be doing
- Performing high-quality MRI examinations across our ACT clinics
- Working with Siemens and Philips MRI systems
- Providing safe, professional and compassionate patient care
- Working closely with Radiologists, Radiographers and the wider clinical team
- Maintaining high standards of imaging quality, safety and clinical practice
- Continuing to develop your MRI knowledge and technical capability
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment across the ACT network
What we're looking for We're interested in speaking with Radiographers at different stages of their MRI career.
You may already be an experienced MRI Radiographer, or you may have gained your initial MRI experience and be looking for an opportunity where you can continue developing your skills.
You'll Bring
- Relevant qualifications in Medical Imaging / Diagnostic Radiography
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current ACT Radiation Licence, or eligibility to obtain one
- Some previous MRI experience
- A strong commitment to patient care and quality imaging
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative and adaptable approach to working across different clinics and teams
Experience with Siemens and/or Philips MRI systems would be advantageous, but you don't need to have worked across both to be considered. Why join I-MED?
