YOUR NEW ROLE
You will be joining the team behind the systems that support the Sydney Opera House’s people, operations and business services. As a Middleware Developer, you’ll maintain and enhance integrations across a complex and evolving technology ecosystem, ensuring reliable, secure and scalable connections between critical platforms. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you’ll translate requirements into effective integration solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high-quality technical documentation that supports operational excellence and future growth.

Key Responsibilities/skills
- Extensive experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise integration solutions, including middleware, real-time, batch, cloud and event-driven integrations.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other iPaaS platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft or similar technologies.
- Proven ability to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and translate complex needs into scalable integration solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of integration security, data management and relational databases, with a focus on delivering reliable, secure and high-performing solutions.
