Join Metro South Health as a Casual Nurse Practitioner working across Mt Gravatt, Meadowbrook and Eight Mile Plains, delivering advanced care for patients with minor injuries and illnesses.

Role

As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide autonomous and collaborative advanced practice across minor injury, illness and primary health care, with opportunities to work across our Mt Gravatt Nurse Led Walk In Clinic, Meadowbrook Health Centre and Eight Mile Plains Satellite Health Centre. You'll play an important role in improving access to care and supporting innovative nurse-led models by:

- Providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral for adults and children over two years.
- Delivering safe, evidence-based and person-centred care within your approved scope of practice.
- Using advanced clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment and prescribing skills.
- Coordinating patient care and facilitating referrals to appropriate services where required.
- Working autonomously while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing clinical leadership and contributing to service improvement, quality initiatives and emerging models of care.
- Supporting education, mentoring and professional development within the clinical team.

About You You're an experienced Nurse Practitioner who brings advanced clinical expertise, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes, with:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
- A Master's level Nurse Practitioner qualification.
- Advanced clinical experience in emergency, primary health,



minor injury and/or illness management.
- A minimum of five years' clinical experience in the relevant specialty area.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, clinical decision-making and care coordination skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to evidence-based, person-centred care and continuous improvement.
- Current Advanced Life Support skills for adults and paediatrics are highly desirable.
