Company Description Performax Science is a leading allied health care practice founded in 2016 by senior sports scientists Nick and Kitti Lancaster. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in the Greater Bristol Area, United Kingdom. The Physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of musculoskeletal, sports-related, neurological, and chronic health conditions using evidence-based techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans, delivering manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation, and monitoring client progress.
The role also involves collaborating with other allied health professionals, maintaining accurate clinical records, educating clients on injury prevention and self-management,
and contributing to performance and youth development programs. Participation in professional development activities and supporting quality improvement initiatives within the practice are expected.
Qualifications
- Recognized degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current registration/eligibility to practice as a Physiotherapist in Australia.
- Clinical experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injuries, or performance-related physiotherapy.
- Skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of manual therapy and exercise prescription.
- Experience or strong interest in women’s health, diabetes management, neurological rehabilitation, and youth development is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health team and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills, with attention to detail in clinical record-keeping and outcomes tracking.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing learning, and participation in continuing professional development.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, client-focused environment, with the ability to manage a wide-ranging caseload and prioritize effectively.
