Job Title: APS5 Compliance Officer | Financial Disclosure
Support regulatory compliance activities in a major Australian Government setting, reviewing financial disclosure returns and election funding claims while contributing to accurate, defensible regulatory outcomes.
Location: Canberra, ACT or Melbourne, VIC
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline
Closing Date: 10.00am, 15 October 2026
Essential Tasks:
- Review financial disclosure returns for accuracy, completeness and legislative compliance.
- Assess election funding claims and undertake related compliance reviews and enquiries.
- Support the processing and payment of election funding in line with legislation and procedures.
- Analyse moderately complex information and provide accurate, well-reasoned advice.
Key Criteria:
- Experience supporting compliance work, financial audits, quality checks or similar processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and interpret complex information.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Qualifications or relevant experience in accounting, commerce, finance or a related field are highly desirable.
