About Us

Jordan & Brooke K-12 is seeking passionate and experienced Primary Tutors to provide personalised learning support to students in Years 1-5 across English, Mathematics and Science. We are looking for educators who enjoy working with younger learners and can create engaging, supportive lessons that build both academic skills and student confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and effective online tutoring for Primary students in English, Mathematics and/or Science.
- Adapt lessons to suit different learning needs, abilities and learning styles.
- Assess student understanding, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Follow the Australian Curriculum and align lessons with students’ school learning where required.
- Work collaboratively with the Academic Coordination team to support student learning and access relevant teaching resources.

Key Criteria





- Previous experience teaching or tutoring Primary-aged children (Years 1–5) is essential.
- Robust understanding of Primary English, Mathematics and/or Science.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young learners.
- Energetic, engaging and patient approach to teaching.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum is highly advantageous.

Requirements

- A completed Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant discipline is required.
- Applicants must have already graduated; current university students will not be considered for this role.
- Previous experience working with Primary-aged students is required.
- Ability to simplify concepts and explain them in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for online tutoring.
- Applicants must currently reside in Australia.
