DDN Storage is looking for a Professional Services Engineer with solid Linux skills who is interested in building expertise across enterprise storage and High-Performance Computing (HPC).
? What you’ll do:
- Deploy, configure and tune storage hardware & software
- Perform customer-site hardware installation and troubleshooting
- Work with Linux, filesystems, storage and HPC environments
- Configure and optimise customer solutions remotely and onsite
- Support DDN deployments and work with engineering/pre-sales teams
- Deliver customer training and technical documentation
- Support customer deployments and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
? What we’re looking for:
- Solid Linux administration, operations and debugging experience
- Knowledge of storage, RAID, NAS or filesystems is a plus
- Exposure to Lustre, NFS, SMB,
XFS/ext4 or parallel filesystems is desirable
- Exposure to HPC clusters and Slurm/PBS is desirable
- Networking knowledge — Ethernet / InfiniBand
- Bash/Python scripting skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with hands-on hardware installation and lifting up to 22.6 kg
- Australian Citizenship required and willingness to obtain NV2 security clearance
