Monadelphous is seeking a motivated and driven Project Engineer to join our operations team in a permanent, full-time position based in Toowoomba.

Supporting a long-term industrial maintenance and operations contract, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with a high-performing site team and build strong relationships with a key client. Working Monday to Friday, with approximately one Saturday per month, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.

This position is suited to candidates who are currently based in Toowoomba.

Key Responsibilities will include

Coordinate and support key project functions including Quality, Technical, Planning and Commercial activities.

Assist in the development and management of project schedules, budgets and execution plans.

Prepare and maintain project reporting, data and commercial documentation.

Support tender preparation and project delivery activities.

Attend client and contractor meetings, providing practical engineering solutions.

Contribute to the successful delivery of maintenance and project work while maintaining safety and quality standards.

What you will bring

Degree qualification in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (Australian recognised).

Experience working in a site-based engineering role within mining, energy, resources, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.

Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving capability.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.





A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
