Lead technical teams, strengthen client relationships and deliver successful high-voltage projects across our Eastern Region.
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to act as a technical and commercial authority for client enquiries and assigned projects. This hands-on role combines project leadership, client account management and business development, with approximately 50% of the role based in the office and 50% leading teams on field-based projects.
About The Role
- Lead and support field teams to safely deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Manage assigned regional projects, client requirements, budgets, invoicing and commercial performance.
- Build strong relationships with existing clients and develop opportunities with new clients.
- Prepare estimates, scopes of work, RFT/RFQ pricing and tender submissions.
- Provide technical guidance, training and support to field teams.
- Ensure compliance with Powertech and client safety, quality and contractual requirements.
- Build relationships with local suppliers, subcontractors and industry groups.
- Support regional resource planning and the continued growth of Technical Services.
About You
- At least five years’ experience in a similar technical or project leadership role.
- Strong experience with high-voltage primary plant and secondary systems.
- Proven leadership capability and the ability to motivate and support field teams.
- Robust client relationship, business development and commercial skills.
- Experience managing project scopes, contracts, budgets and compliance requirements.
- A solutions-focused approach with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- A Queensland Electrical Licence or degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A project or business management qualification, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
