- $83,421 – $96,065 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation (dependent on experience)

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Public Arts Officer to join the Arts, Events & Libraries Department. Reporting to the Visual Arts Coordinator, your role is to:

- Support the delivery of Kingston Arts’ annual Public Art Program across the municipality.
- Provide curatorial expertise, support and advice to artists, curators, arts organisations, council officers and technical experts.
- Facilitate and coordinate public art procurement in line with relevant Council policies across creative and open spaces, and activity centres.
- Coordinate a formal application process and host site visits, field enquiries and develop advertisements, EOIs, curator and artist briefs; and facilitating public art installations and launches.

What You’ll Bring We Are Looking For Someone With

- Demonstrated experience supporting or delivering public art programs or projects within a commercial, community, cooperative or government setting.
- High level of oral and written communication skills.
- High level of organisational and project management skills
- The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in Arts Administration,



Public Art, Visual Arts, Cultural Management, or a related discipline; or relevant experience in a comparable field.
