About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for Raw Materials & Claims Specialists to join the HFA Quality team! Based at our Heathwood facility,



the successful applicant will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring the quality of all meat, ingredients, packaging and other raw materials arriving at the site, whilst rectifying any incoming goods that do not meet required specifications.

In this role, you will

- Manage quality aspects of raw materials and control to conform to the Woolworths Supplier Excellence Standard;
- Inspect raw materials against specifications;
- Complete KPI reporting;
- Check conformance of raw meat to agreed primal and trim specifications by cutting and measuring key parameters;
- Monitor, check and record daily operations;
- Audit raw material deliveries;
- Quality control of incoming dry ingredients and batching;
- Monitor quality of incoming packaging and labels;

About you

- Proven background in Food Manufacturing (experience in Meat Industry highly regarded);
- Food Safety Qualification and/or trade qualification (i.e. Trade Butcher);
- Sound communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Knowledge of HACCP and its application;
- Exceptional problem-solving, organisational and planning skills;
- Basic computer skills;
- Driven to meet business standards and customer expectations, and attain ‘best in class’;
- High attention to detail and accuracy;




- Ability to work well under deadlines.
