The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and customer focused AdministrationAssistant to provide administrative support to our Health Servicesteam.

This role has a strong focus on direct customer service andstakeholder engagement, acting as a key point of contact forresidents, businesses and stakeholders. Key responsibilitiesinclude responding to customer enquiries, document management, dataentry, record keeping, performance reporting support and assistingwith the delivery of key business initiatives. This position wouldsuit someone who is passionate about our community, highlyorganised, enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, can managecompeting priorities and multiple tasks, and maintains a high levelof accuracy and attention to detail. Experience using TechnologyOneand Microsoft Office applications will be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role, you willneed:

- Minimum 12 months previous experience in an AdministrationAssistant position with direct community contact.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the initiativeto prioritise workloads and deliver timely services.
- Highly developed written communication skills and computerskills, including experience using Microsoft Officeapplications and web-based software applications.
- Excellent data entry skills, including speed andaccuracy.




- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to confidently engage with customers,stakeholders and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competingpriorities in a busy customer-focused environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and provideadministrative support to a large team.
- Previous experience working in local government would be anadvantage.
- Certificate III in Office Administration or related fieldwould be highly regarded.

- *The salary for this role commences at step 1, withpotential for movement within the range based on demonstratedskills and experience. Incremental progression typically occursat the conclusion of each 12-month period, in accordance withthe Industrial Agreement.
