We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Public Area Attendants to join our housekeeping team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional hotel environment while building a long-term career in hospitality.

About the Role

As a Public Area Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a positive first impression for hotel guests. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public spaces throughout the hotel, ensuring all areas meet Silk Hospitality's high standards. This role requires a solid eye for detail, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering excellent service every day.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain hotel public areas including lobbies, corridors, lifts, entrances, restrooms and guest amenities
- Ensure all public spaces are presented to the highest cleanliness standards
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest and housekeeping requests
- Complete scheduled deep cleaning and project cleaning tasks
- Assist with stock control and replenishment of cleaning supplies
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, and lost property




- Move furniture and equipment as required
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure a seamless guest experience

What We're Looking For

- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week across the following shifts: Mon to Fri: 9am - 3.30pm; Thu to Sat: 4.30pm - 9pm
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Positive attitude and professional presentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated
