Full-Time (0.4 FTE teaching + 0.6 Position ofResponsibility)

The Geelong College invites applications from highly effective,innovative and motivated educators for the position of Head ofDigital Advancement & Reporting.

This role provides strategic and operational leadership for theintegration of technology into teaching and learning across TheGeelong College, from Early Learning to Year 12. The positioncombines a 0.4 FTE teaching load with a 0.6 FTE Position ofResponsibility.

The Head of Digital Advancement & Reporting will lead thedevelopment and implementation of technology-rich teaching andlearning practices across the College, working collaboratively withthe Director of ICT, Director of Teaching and Learning and otherleaders to ensure the effective use of learning technologies bothwithin and beyond the classroom.

Key areas of responsibility include the effective use anddevelopment of learning management systems, staff professionaldevelopment, student education in the effective and safe use oftechnology, implementation of new platforms and programs, and theadministration of semester reporting and learning data systems.

The successful applicant will demonstrate solid leadership andcommunication skills,



an ability to lead strategic initiatives andfacilitate change, and a commitment to using technology andlearning data to enhance teaching, learning and studentoutcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

- Relevant educational qualification and experience in asimilar leadership role
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HTLAID 009), and AsthmaManagement Certificate
- Have completed the Protecting Children - MandatoryReporting and other Obligations Non Government Schoolsmodule
- Completion of either The College's anaphylaxis training, orAccredited course: 22578VIC - Course in First Aid Management ofAnaphylaxis
- Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
- Experience with a range of software and learningtechnologies, including systems such as SEQTA, Synergetic andMicrosoft 365, would be highly regarded.
