This is an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in respiratory nursing and pulmonary rehabilitation while working in a supportive community health setting.
Make an impact in respiratory care by helping clients breathe easier, build confidence and live well. You will:
- Assess and support clients living with respiratory conditions such as COPD and asthma.
- Perform spirometry and contribute to individualised respiratory care.
- Lead engaging pulmonary rehabilitation sessions twice weekly.
- Educate and support clients managing oxygen therapy and their ongoing health needs.
- Promote self-management, healthy lifestyle choices and greater independence.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Gain broader experience through backfill opportunities at Glen Innes Community Health.
About You We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about community-based care and supporting people to achieve better health outcomes.
You Will Have
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- A strong commitment to person-centred care and health education.
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
- A willingness to develop your knowledge and skills in respiratory nursing and pulmonary rehabilitation.
