First Grade Recruitment is seeking reliable landscaping workers across a range of experience levels. Whether you have general landscaping experience, robust practical skills or experience leading a crew, we’d like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your role and the project, duties may include:
- General landscaping, gardening and maintenance.
- Site preparation, digging, moving materials and site clean-up.
- Turf laying, planting, mulching and garden bed preparation.
- Assisting with paving, fencing and retaining wall construction.
- Safely operating hand tools, power tools and equipment.
- For leading hands: organising daily tasks, guiding a crew and helping deliver work safely and to a high standard.
About You
- Experience in landscaping, gardening, landscape construction or related labouring work.
- A reliable approach,
positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to undertake manual tasks in outdoor environments.
- For leading hands: previous experience leading a crew, allocating tasks and working with plans, set-outs and levels.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current Construction White Card.
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport to work sites.
- MR licence and relevant machinery tickets are advantageous.
