Position Overview
We are seeking passionate Full Time Diploma Room Leaders to join the team at our Sydney Olympic Park (Murray Rose) and Rockdale. This is a hands on, on the floor role where you will lead a room, mentor educators, implement high quality programs, and support children’s growth, curiosity, and development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of educators in your room through on-the-floor mentoring and support.
- Plan and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of every child in your care.
- Build positive relationships with families and support open communication.
- Collaborate with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to maintain a high-quality service.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Child Protection training/certificate
- Experience leading a room and mentoring educators
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
