Dominion City Church Australia is seeking a passionate and reliable worship singer to join our worship team. The successful applicant will help lead the congregation in worship and contribute to services and church events.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support congregational singing during worship services.
- Attend rehearsals and learn songs, harmonies and arrangements in advance.
- Work with the worship leader, musicians and other singers.
- Follow musical direction and adapt to changes during services.
- Participate in prayer meetings and special church events as scheduled.
- Help create a welcoming, respectful and spiritually focused worship environment.
Requirements
- Confident singing voice with good pitch, timing, and vocal control, with an experience leading congregational worship.
- Familiarity with gospel and contemporary Christian worship music, including knowledge of common liturgical structures.
- Ability to learn songs and harmonies quickly and accurately, and sing effectively as part of a vocal ensemble.
- Reliable attendance at agreed rehearsals and services.
- A humble, respectful and cooperative attitude.
- A humble, respectful, and collaborative attitude, demonstrated through previous church worship participation.
- Ability to commit to regular weekly rehearsals and Sunday services, with flexibility for special events.
- Serve the church community through your musical gift.
- Develop your vocal and worship-leading skills.
- Grow alongside a supportive worship team.
- Contribute to the spiritual life of Dominion City Church Australia.
