Administration Assistant (Pathways to Good Health)
Administration Assistant
0.4–0.6 FTE | Maximum term to 30 June 2027 | Ballarat CBD location
$34.46 per hour + salary packaging
Appointments booked. Referrals processed. Records updated. Information where it needs to be.
These are the everyday admin tasks that keep things organised and moving.
But in our Pathways to Good Health program, those everyday admin tasks support something pretty important.
Pathways to Good Health brings together paediatricians, GPs, paediatric nurses and allied health clinicians to provide health checks and comprehensive health assessments for children and young people entering care.
Your job is to provide the practical, reliable administration that helps the program run smoothly.
What will you actually be doing?
You might start the morning checking bookings for the next multidisciplinary clinic and making sure the relevant information and documentation is ready. A new referral comes in, so you process it and update the client management system. Later, you might enter program data, prepare for a Steering Group meeting or upload completed client documentation.
You'll also:
- maintain electronic medical and health records
- support program data collection and reporting
- coordinate program and Steering Group meetings
- organise and support training on client information systems
- manage program finances, including brokerage payments and acquittals.
It's varied, practical administration where being organised, accurate and reliable really counts.
This role has your name on it if...
You're organised, have a great eye for detail and genuinely enjoy admin.
You're comfortable with computers and learning new systems, can manage several tasks at once and take pride in getting things right.
You're also approachable, reliable and happy working both independently and alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in administration, reception, health,
community services or another client-focused workplace would be valuable
