We're Looking For a...

Senior Legal Counsel with deep expertise in property and complex transactions to join the Investment Management legal team.

What You’ll Do

- Join our Group Legal & Risk team in a permanent full-time role based in Sydney, supporting our Data Centre business.
- Take ownership of end-to-end property transactions, including leasing, site acquisition, development, stabilisation and exit.
- Lead and advise on high-value capital partnering, joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals, alongside key commercial property development matters across data centres, retail, workplace and industrial assets.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice that enables strategic outcomes.
- This role exists to support complex investment activity and growth, ensuring legal risk is effectively managed while unlocking value across the portfolio.

About You

You are an experienced and commercially astute lawyer who enjoys working on complex property and transactional matters at scale. You thrive in environments where you can lead negotiations,



influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across sophisticated deals.

Experience & Skills That Count

- Operating at Senior Associate level or equivalent, with strong exposure to complex property and transactional work
- Strong experience across property law and large-scale development transactions
- Demonstrated capability in capital partnering, joint ventures, M&A; or complex commercial transactions
- Background in top-tier private practice or high-performing in-house property, REIT or funds management environments
- Advanced negotiation, drafting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead multiple workstreams
- Experience with data centres preferred but not mandatory
