Senior Planner - Renewable Energy Tenders

About the Employer

Our client is an infrastructure engineering and construction contractor delivering transport, civil and energy projects. Its teams work across design, construction and project delivery in Australia.

The Opportunity

Develop tender-stage master programmes and construction sequencing for major solar, wind, battery storage and HV infrastructure bids. The role is available through corporate offices in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, with Sydney used for this listing.

Your Responsibilities

- Create resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules from front-end engineering through commissioning.
- Develop 4D sequencing, time-location diagrams, logistics plans and tender milestones.
- Perform quantitative schedule risk, critical-path and sensitivity analysis to inform bid contingencies.
- Integrate long-lead equipment and grid commissioning hold points into programmes.
- Establish execution baselines, S-curves, productivity benchmarks and earned-value frameworks for delivery handover.

Requirements

Skills, Education and Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.




- At least seven years as a senior or lead planner with a Tier 1/2 contractor or EPC business on major renewable energy or infrastructure projects above $100 million.
- Advanced Primavera P6, MS Project and schedule-risk tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran or Deltek Acumen.
- Detailed understanding of solar installation, BESS, wind turbine erection, HV substations and AEMO grid-connection hold points.
