CKI Group is partnering with a well-established accounting business in Pascoe Vale to find an experienced Tax Accountant who can confidently manage tax and compliance work across a diverse client base.

The Role Working across a varied portfolio of clients, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns
- Preparing financial statements and year-end accounts
- BAS, IAS and GST compliance
- Managing client files from preparation through to completion
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to taxation and accounting queries
- Working with the ATO and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Identifying issues and working with clients to achieve practical outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and meeting lodgement deadlines

About You We're looking for someone who brings:

- Solid experience in Australian taxation and public practice accounting
- Experience preparing tax returns across companies,



trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Strong understanding of ATO requirements, GST, BAS and IAS
- Experience preparing financial statements
- Confidence managing your own workload and multiple client deadlines
- Robust client communication skills
- Experience with accounting/tax software such as Xero and MYOB
- Relevant accounting qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach

CA/CPA qualifications would be highly regarded; however, strong practical tax experience is equally important.
