Osborne Richardson is partnering with a well-established Australian food manufacturer to appoint a Site Quality Assurance Manager for its Greenacre facility.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a quality professional who enjoys being on the factory floor, leading a team and driving high standards. You'll report to the GM Quality and lead a team of QA Coordinators, QA Officers and QC Officers, taking ownership of quality, food safety and regulatory compliance across the site.

About the role
You'll be the site's quality lead, responsible for:

- Implementing, maintaining and managing the site's Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory systems
- Leading GFSI, customer and regulatory audits
- Managing HACCP and prerequisite programs, including CCP and QCP monitoring, GMP walks, calibration and retention samples
- Running complaint and incident investigations, NCRs and the audit CAPA program, with timely reporting to customers and regulators
- Responding quickly to quality incidents, and identifying and isolating non-conforming product or equipment
- Ensuring all export orders are fully compliant
- Leading, coaching and recruiting the QA and QC team, with clear accountability at every level
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual quality reviews




- Partnering with Production, Planning, Maintenance, NPD and Sales to troubleshoot recurring issues and drive continuous improvement

About you

- Diploma or degree in Food Science or a related field
- At least 3 years' quality experience in food manufacturing, ideally including team leadership
- Solid knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, GMP and quality documentation
- Confident leading audits and investigations
- A practical, commercial approach to problem solving and a sharp eye for detail
- A caring, credible leader who builds trust and holds the standard
- A clear communicator who can work with stakeholders from the floor to senior management
- Flexibility to support the site at critical times when needed
