This is a part-time/casual position of approximately 2–3 days per week, with the opportunity for your hours, caseload and income to grow over time. You'll work primarily within musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with exposure to a wide variety of presentations and patients. You will also have the opportunity to develop and pursue your own clinical interests, allowing you to build the type of caseload you enjoy working with.
Key responsibilities
- Provide physiotherapy treatment within musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Manage a caseload including musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, sports injuries, workplace injuries, exercise rehabilitation, injury prevention, strength and conditioning, general aches and pains, post-operative rehabilitation, older adults and active ageing, and community-based presentations
- Participate in regular case discussions with the team
- Engage in ongoing clinical development and learning
- Build relationships with patients and referring practitioners
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the medical clinic environment
About you
- Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) from a recognised university
- Current full registration with AHPRA
- Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for physiotherapy and helping people achieve their goals
- Willingness to learn,
receive feedback and continue developing
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Positive, reliable and team-oriented attitude
- Desirable: At least 6 months' clinical experience in musculoskeletal or sports physiotherapy
- Desirable: Current First Aid / CPR certification
