Here at Linear, we are growing and have a newly created role toa Finance Analyst to join our collaborative and supportive Finance team.
We're looking for a commercially minded and analytical finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving problems, and turning data into meaningful business insights. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career finance professional who is looking to move beyond traditional reporting and develop their commercial acumen.
Working closely with operational leaders and the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis, reporting improvements, and strategic projects across the organisation.

Your Role in Our Future
As our Finance Analyst, you will partner with operational and corporate stakeholders to provide financial insights that support decision-making and improve business performance.
You'll be involved in a broad range of responsibilities including:
- Preparing and analysing budgets, forecasts and financial models.
- Delivering weekly and monthly financial performance reporting.
- Monitoring revenue, labour costs, utilisation and profitability trends.
- Supporting business cases and evaluating commercial opportunities.
- Providing practical financial advice to operational leaders.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and financial visibility.
- Supporting strategic projects and business improvement initiatives.
- Developing reporting tools, dashboards and analytics that enhance decision-making.
Your Experience
You are an analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in understanding how a business operates.
You'll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting,
Finance or a related discipline.
- CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards completion).
- 1-3 years' experience in a finance, commercial analysis or business support role.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear and practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering results.
