Copper SA has an exciting growth agenda, and effective resource and infrastructure planning will be critical to turning that opportunity into safe, sustainable value.
Reporting to General Manager Planning, Technical and Environment, as the Manager Resource Engineering, you will lead a critical technical function that helps shape the future value of Copper SA’s resource portfolio, leading integration of Resource Engineering capability supporting the medium-term growth of Copper SA. You will apply engineering expertise, governance and strategic thinking across resource development and effective resource extraction to unlock safe, sustainable growth across the business.
Operating across a complex technical and operational workplace, you will connect functions,
operations and stakeholders to solve challenges and identify opportunities across the mining value chain, from exploration and resource development through to operations.
A key part of your leadership will be translating longer-term business objectives into actionable plans and helping Copper SA make evidence-based decisions about priorities, resources, opportunities and risk.
This is a rare opportunity to play a defining role in one of the most significant copper growth portfolios in the world, influencing how Copper SA develops, extracts and realises long term value from the resource, while developing people and strengthening technical capability across the business.
