About the role

AMICA Events is seeking an experienced and passionate Floral Manager to lead and grow the Floral Department from the Epping location. This is a full-time, hands-on management role suited to an experienced floral professional who combines strong creative and practical floral skills with leadership, organisation and commercial awareness. As Floral Manager, you will take ownership of the floral department and oversee projects from the initial client brief through to production and successful event delivery. You will lead and develop the floral team, manage production schedules and resources, oversee purchasing and stock, and ensure every project is delivered to AMICA Events' quality standards, on time and within budget. You will also work closely with Sales and Operations teams, participate in client consultations, interpret floral briefs and develop creative yet commercially viable floral solutions. The role will have active involvement in identifying upselling opportunities, developing new floral products and packages, researching trends and helping grow the floral offering within AMICA Events.

Key responsibilities

- Leading,



managing and developing the Floral team

- Hands-on floral design, production and quality control

- Managing client floral briefs, consultations and deliverables

- Planning floral production schedules, labour and resources

- Purchasing fresh and artificial florals, materials and supplies

- Managing suppliers, stock levels and wastage

- Monitoring project budgets, labour, materials and margins

- Supporting Sales with floral concepts, quoting and opportunities

- Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities

- Developing new floral products, packages and concepts

About you

- Strong floral knowledge and practical experience

- Proven leadership capabilities

- Excellent organisation and time management

- Confidence communicating with clients

- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines

- Solid eye for detail and design

- Understanding of the commercial side of running a successful floral department, including labour, purchasing, budgets and margins
