Position No: DBCA3180780

Salary/Level: Level 2, $79,604 - $85,350 p.a. plus Superannuation

Tenure: 6 months Fixed-term, Full-time (with the possibility of extension or permanency)

Location: Kensington, Western Australia

Public Information and Corporate Affairs Branch delivers a range of services aimed at increasing peoples' appreciation, knowledge and enjoyment of WA's wildlife, parks and conservation areas. The branch's work includes media relations, communications, social media coordination and public safety information in support of department-managed incidents, such as bushfires.

- Assist with various administrative tasks, including emails, phone calls and spreadsheets, that are aimed at helping the branch’s graphic design team. This is directly linked to better business outcomes for the department.
- Use your positive attitude and client service skills to liaise with internal departmental clients who have requested a recent graphic design job via the branch mailbox.
- You will not be conducting any graphic design work in this role or making any decisions about the creative choices and technical outputs of the branch’s graphic designers.

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.

Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated experience delivering client or customer services, handling enquiries and building positive client or customer relationships.
2. Demonstrated experience with taking direction from experienced staff and managers and meeting deadlines.
3. Demonstrated computer literacy with experience in the use of Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
