Parts Pricing and Item Master Supervisor

Are you an experienced pricing, parts or master data professional ready to step into a key leadership role?

We are seeking a Parts Pricing & Item Master Supervisor to join our Parts & Supply Chain team in Wacol. In this role, you'll lead the management of parts pricing and item master data across a diverse portfolio of heavy-duty trucks, diesel and gas engines, power systems and associated components.

With responsibility for both commercial pricing and data integrity, you'll work closely with Parts, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Product Management, OEM suppliers and IT to ensure accurate information, protect margins and continuously improve the processes and systems that support the business.

What you'll do

- Lead the accurate creation, maintenance and governance of parts pricing and item master data
- Manage cost, list, wholesale, dealer, retail, contract and special pricing within approved guidelines
- Analyse pricing competitiveness and margins across brands, products, customers, channels and part categories
- Work closely with suppliers to manage price files and assess the impact of FX, freight, duty, surcharges, rebates and landed costs
- Govern item creation, amendments, supersessions, alternate parts, kits, bills of material and product lifecycle status
- Identify pricing trends, commercial risks and opportunities and prepare recommendations for pricing changes
- Develop reporting, dashboards, workflows and automated controls to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Support ERP improvements, system upgrades, new product introductions, supplier transitions and business initiatives
- Lead and support the team, coordinating workloads and maintaining high standards of turnaround, accuracy and internal customer service
- Develop work instructions and cross-training to strengthen capability and continuity across the team.

About you

You'll bring strong commercial awareness and analytical capability,



backed by experience in item master data, parts pricing, product administration, supply chain or a related commercial environment.

Ideally, you will also have:

- Experience within heavy vehicles, engines, power generation, industrial equipment, automotive or capital equipment parts
- Sound understanding of part numbering, supersessions, product hierarchies, supplier records, landed costs, price lists, discounts and margins
- Experience working with ERP and master data systems, with exposure to IDS, ERA, SAP or similar highly regarded
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Exposure to Power BI, workflow automation or process improvement advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to lead, support and develop a team
- A relevant qualification in business, commerce, supply chain, data management, finance or a related discipline would be advantageous.
