- Permanent full-time opportunity
- November 23rd commencement | Victor Harbor location
- 4 weeks full-time training based at our Head Office in Adelaide CBD
Are you ready for a retail role that’s about more than just serving customers?
Join the RAA team at our Victor Harbor Shop and build your sales and customer service skills in a role where every day is different.
This isn’t your average retail role. As a Retail Sales Consultant, you’ll help our members find the right insurance products and Road Service plans to suit their needs. You’ll have meaningful conversations with customers, identify opportunities, provide tailored solutions and play an important role in growing and retaining RAA’s membership.
You’ll also have the chance to step away from the shop floor on some days and dial into our Contact Centre, supporting the team by handling member calls and helping generate additional sales. This gives you the chance to build your confidence across different customer channels while working towards shared team and sales goals.
In addition, you will:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create positive experiences for RAA members and customers.
- Have meaningful sales conversations, understand customer needs and recommend suitable RAA products and services.
- Become multi-skilled across RAA’s extensive product range, including Insurance and Road Service.
- Identify opportunities to generate additional sales and contribute to individual and team sales targets.
- Utilise procedures, guidelines and your commercial judgement to make good business decisions for RAA and our members.
- Collaborate with a supportive and dynamic team, contributing to a positive and high-performing environment.
Hours
Monday to Friday, plus 1–2 weekend shifts per month, paid at an overtime rate.
Full-time training for the first four weeks, based at our Head Office in Adelaide CBD.
About you
You’ll be a confident, motivated and customer-focused individual who enjoys building relationships, sales conversations and working towards team and individual goals.
We’re also looking for:
- A genuine passion for helping people and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Confidence and enthusiasm for sales, with the ability to identify customer needs.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is essential, with sales experience highly regarded.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and teammates.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn and navigate multiple systems.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to support our Contact Centre when required.
