We are seeking a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager – Weddings & Social Events to lead the growth of our event business at Avani Cypress Lakes Resort. This is your chance to combine sales leadership with hands-on event delivery in one of Australia’s most picturesque destinations.
About the Role:
As the BDM, you’ll take ownership of our weddings and social events portfolio from sales strategy through to event execution. You’ll build robust client relationships, lead premium events on-site, and position our resort as the Hunter Valley’s premier destination for celebrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in weddings and social events
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Represent the resort at bridal expos and industry events
- Oversee the planning and delivery of high-end weddings and social functions
- Collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional event experiences
- Identify opportunities for growth.
