Senior Project Engineer - Civil or Electrical Solar Works

Location: Pilbara project site south of Karratha, Western Australia.

Our client is an engineering and construction business working across transport, defence and major infrastructure. It combines project delivery expertise with a focus on collaboration, technical improvement and sustainable outcomes.

The Opportunity
Lead civil or electrical construction engineering packages on a major solar development in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Reporting to area leadership, you will coordinate engineering interfaces, construction performance and junior engineers.

Your Responsibilities
• Manage earthworks, piling and access roads or HV/MV reticulation, substations and solar array scopes.
• Track budgets, schedules, costs and delivery risks.
• Resolve technical and constructability issues.
• Prepare work scopes, estimates, methods and project documentation.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Support procurement, subcontract administration and quality compliance.
• Mentor engineers and site teams.

RequirementsSkills, Education and Requirements
• An Engineering bachelor degree in Civil or Electrical, or equivalent, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.




• Five to eight or more years in civil construction, electrical infrastructure, renewables or major projects.
• A track record managing complex civil or electrical packages.
• Strong construction methods, contracts and project controls knowledge.
• Leadership, commercial judgement and project-system proficiency; Primavera P6 is desirable.
• Current Australian work rights.
