We are seeking experienced Boilermaker Welders to join our Fremantle-based team, working across a range of local projects involving fabrication, welding, structural repair and maintenance.

The Opportunity

The role will involve fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment and carrying out welding and repairs. You will also identify and resolve defects to ensure quality outcomes.

Working closely with the operational team, you will play an important role in delivering projects safely, efficiently and to schedule, with a solid focus on quality and compliance.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Fabrication and welding of structural steel, pipework and other components

- Using various welding techniques to complete work efficiently and to a high standard

- Identifying and rectifying defects to ensure quality outcomes

- Working safely and adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE

- Participating in toolbox talks,



safety audits and other safety initiatives

- Working with other departments to achieve time-sensitive project deadlines

Key Requirements

- Trade Qualification – Boilermaker / Welder

- Experience in structural steel fabrication and welding

- Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick Welding

- Construction Industry White Card

- Valid C Class Driver’s Licence

- Strong organisational, multitasking and prioritising skills

- Ability to problem solve and work unsupervised

- Commitment to safety, quality, community and environmental responsibilities

Desirable

- MSIC Card

- Proficiency in MMAW and FCAW (Innershield) welding processes – coded experience advantageous

- Proficiency in thermal cutting and gouging

- High Risk Work Licence – Dogging and Rigging

- Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry certificates

- First Aid Certificate
