Who are we looking for?
We're partnering with a leading national construction and projects business to appoint an experienced Legal Counsel. Operating across multiple jurisdictions and delivering large-scale projects nationally, this organisation offers the chance to work closely with commercial stakeholders in a quick-paced and highly collaborative environment. This assignment is expected to run for 6 months, with the potential to extend, and requires an immediate start.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Support the legal aspects of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects from inception through to delivery.

- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of construction, project and commercial agreements.

- Provide commercially focused legal advice to project teams and business stakeholders.

- Advise on contract risk, procurement and project-related issues.

To join us, you will:

- Have between 4-10 years relevant PQE in construction,



projects or infrastructure law.

- Bring strong front-end construction experience, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and project agreements.

- Be confident providing commercially pragmatic legal advice to a broad range of stakeholders.

- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
