We are seeking an experienced Surf Retail Manager to join the agile team at the Strapper Surf, Surf City Plaza store in Torquay. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, with a focus on driving sales and providing exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and motivate your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Help develop and implement effective sales and merchandising strategies to maximise store performance
- Oversee visual merchandising
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with head office management to achieve store and company objectives
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with the local surf community
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably within the surf/action sports industry
- Proven track record of driving sales and profitability in a retail setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for the surf lifestyle
- Strong communication skills
- Have good computer skills & having previous Osipos experience would be an advantage
