Our signature Sholeh Zard showcases premium Persian saffron, one of the world's most prized spices, renowned for its distinctive aroma, vibrant colour and long history in traditional cuisine. We've reimagined this timeless dessert for today's consumer while staying true to its authentic roots. Alongside our signature product, we offer a light, creamy rice pudding made using premium Persian rice, naturally known for its delicate nutty flavour and exceptional texture. Every batch is slow-cooked using traditional methods with carefully selected, premium-quality ingredients to create a dessert that is rich in flavour, comforting and indulgent.

Our first store has just opened in Top Ryde Shopping Centre and we plan to open many more.

About the role

This is a casual customer-facing role. You will greet and serve customers, take orders and process payments using the POS system, serve and plate desserts to presentation standards, and maintain a clean and well-stocked counter and dining area.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and inviting counter and dining area

- Restock ingredients and toppings throughout service

- Answer customer questions about the menu, ingredients, and allergens

- Handle customer feedback professionally and escalate issues where needed

- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times

- Support opening and closing duties as rostered (setup, cash handling, cleaning)

- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff during busy service periods

About you

- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with customers

- Reliable and punctual, with strong communication skills

- Able to stay calm and organised during busy periods

- Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system (training provided)

- Current NSW Food Safety/Responsible Service certificate a plus (or willingness to obtain)

- Available during the week and/or weekends and/or Thursday evenings

- Previous customer service or hospitality experience welcome but not essential
