We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our operating theatre team in a Scrub/Scout role. At our hospital located on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches

About the role

The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive theatre team, providing safe, high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

· Working as a Scrub/Scout nurse during surgical procedures

· Preparing and maintaining the operating theatre and sterile field

· Assisting surgeons and the wider theatre team

· Ensuring appropriate instruments, equipment and supplies are available

· Maintaining strict infection prevention and control standards

· Completing accurate clinical and theatre documentation

· Contributing to a safe, professional and positive theatre environment

About you

We are looking for someone who:





· Holds current AHPRA registration as an RN or EN

· Has experience in operating theatre nursing, particularly Scrub/Scout

· Demonstrates excellent clinical and communication skills

· Works well within a multidisciplinary team

· Is reliable, organized and committed to patient safety

· Has a professional and positive approach to patient care

Experience in a range of surgical specialties is desirable.
