K1 Wines is looking for people to join the cellar door team at the Kuitpo vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. Positions are available across a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, with opportunities ranging from cellar door hosts through to a senior team member who can help oversee the day-to-day running of the cellar door. There is also the opportunity for one position to include additional warehouse and logistics work during the week.
Key responsibilities
Cellar Door Hosts:
- Welcoming guests and hosting wine tastings
- Talking customers through the K1 Wines range
- Taking wine sales and processing transactions
- Helping customers with wine selections
- Preparing and maintaining the cellar door throughout the day
- Assisting with bookings, groups and functions
- Restocking wine and cellar door supplies
- Helping with opening and closing procedures
- Providing friendly and qualified customer service
Cellar Door Supervisor / Senior Host (additional responsibilities):
- Taking responsibility for the cellar door during a shift
- Coordinating staff and daily tasks
- Managing opening and closing procedures
- Overseeing bookings and group visits
- Maintaining service and presentation standards
- Monitoring cellar door stock levels
- Helping train and support other team members
- Resolving customer or operational issues as they arise
- Working closely with management around cellar door operations and upcoming events
About you
Cellar Door Hosts:
- Good personality and reliability
- Confidence dealing with customers
- Wine knowledge is useful, but not essential
Cellar Door Supervisor / Senior Host:
- Previous cellar door, hospitality, retail or supervisory experience would be highly regarded
