We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Civil Operator / Leading Hand to join an established and busy drainage and civil construction company based in North Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced operator who is confident on the machines and has the leadership skills to coordinate a crew and keep projects moving.
About the Role You will be working across a range of civil and drainage projects, operating machinery while assisting with the day-to-day coordination of the crew and site activities.

Duties will include:

- Operating excavators and other civil machinery
- Civil drainage, trenching, pipework and earthworks
- Assisting with site set-out and working to plans and levels
- Coordinating and supervising the crew as required
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Liaising with supervisors and other site personnel
- Jumping on the tools/machines when required

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Extensive civil construction experience
- Robust drainage experience
- Multi-skilled machinery experience




- Previous Leading Hand experience, or be ready to step into a Leading Hand position
- Experience working with excavators and civil machinery
- Ability to read plans and understand levels
- GPS experience highly regarded
- Solid leadership and communication skills
- A hands-on attitude and ability to lead from the front
- Strong commitment to safety
- Reliable transport and relevant tickets/licences
