LIONS@Springwood is the official social club of the Brisbane Lions. We're a busy, community-focused venue where locals, families and footy fans come to eat, drink and catch up. We're looking for casual Food & Beverage Attendants who enjoy customer service, stay calm when it gets busy, and take pride in doing the job well.
About The Venue
Our venue includes:
- The 5th Quarter Restaurant, with a menu that suits everyone
- The Cage Bar, with plenty of screens for sport fans
- TAB facilities
- A newly renovated 200-machine gaming room
- An enclosed kids' area for families
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming and seating members and guests, and making them feel at home
- Taking food orders, making drinks and handling payments in the restaurant and bar
- Working closely with the kitchen team so food comes out smoothly, even on our busiest nights
- Keeping the restaurant and bar areas clean and well presented
- Handling cash, including coins, notes and pay-out vouchers
- Serving alcohol and gaming responsibly by following RSA and RSG requirements every shift
What We’re Looking For
This is a rapid-paced role with weekends, footy seasons and public holidays being some our busiest times and you’ll likely be rostered during these periods. To be successful you will:
- Enjoy talking with customers and look after people without being asked
- Stay positive and organised when the venue is full
- Turn up on time,
look sharp and back your teammates
- Are available on weekends, nights and public holidays across a seven-day roster
What You’ll Need
- Experience in hospitality, ideally food and beverage. If you're newer to the industry, we'll still consider you if you have the right attitude and reliable availability
- RSA and RSG or willingness to obtain prior to starting
- Barista skills are a bonus but not essential
