About the role

GATTUSO TRANSPORT & PACKAGING P/L is seeking a General Admin/Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis in Shepparton East, VIC. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our business, providing critical administrative and financial support across the organisation. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day load delivery confirmations and follow up, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting our management team.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with maintaining comprehensive financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Processing invoices, receipts and payment documentation with accuracy and attention to detail

- Managing general office administration tasks, including Proof Of Delivery confirmations

- Providing administrative support to multiple departments and team members

- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive business and financial information

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, bookkeeper or similar role within a fast-paced business environment

- Strong proficiency in bookkeeping practices and financial record-keeping

- Competency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Robust written and verbal communication skills

- Professional discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality





- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork

- Relevant qualifications in bookkeeping, accounting or administration are desirable

- Experience in the transport/logistics industries would be advantageous
