Overview
An exciting prospect exists for an APS6 Senior Records Manager to provide specialist expertise in records and information management within a small agency environment. The role will support information governance activities and contribute to the organisation's compliance with legislative and policy obligations relating to records management, information handling, and privacy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and deliver projects to strengthen information management practices
- Maintain and enhance the Information Asset Register
- Clarify roles and responsibilities for information governance across the organisation
- Review and update record security protocols
- Maintain system access controls and ensure compliance with reporting obligations
- Develop training and communication materials to build staff capability
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in and/or qualifications in Information Management /Record Keeping
- Proficiency in TRIM/Content Manager and SharePoint
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent planning, organisation and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A proactive mindset with sound judgement and initiative
